Set of 3 Antique Aesthetic Movement SPODE COPELAND POLYCHROME TRANSFER WARE PLATES

For consideration is this trio of early Copeland Spode botanical plates with an Octagon shape. Each plate features a unique nature / botanical scene. One depicts a birdnkst nestled into a flowering tree limb with a butterfly and dragonfly. One depicts a single sparrow / bird and a Monarch butterfly fluttering amongst fern fronds. And one depicts a butterfly and tiny dragonfly with scattered cherry blossom branches. The transfer is hand painted in teal, green, blue, pinks, oranges, rust, taupe, brown, pink, green, aqua and yellow. They have a raised dot rim.
Condition is very good. One plate has two tiny nicks on the rim, shown in last photo on right side. They nicks are more apparent in the photo than in person. . Lovely pieces, very, very hard to find; especially the bird nest pate! Impressed Copeland marks on back.
