Antique 19th Century Red Transferware Floral Plate Lace Diamond Pattern Border

$69.99

Brand Minton

For consideration is this early red / pink Staffordshire plate unattributed to a particular maker (though it has been thought to be Minton) in the Diamond Pattern, produced between 1825-1840.  Each piece in the series features a different bouquet of lush plethora of flowers cascading out of an ornately detailed basket.  It is surrounded by a sheet pattern of lacey diamonds with delicate flowers at the center of each.   The plate is gently scalloped.  It is simple and elaborate at the same time, an absolutely beautiful border.

Measures:  10.25”

Condition: There are no chips or cracks.  There are some small pops in the glaze and minor light brown crazing.

Marked as shown:  Diamond Pattern
