Antique 19C Medical Earthenware Inhaler Advertising Transferware London c 1890

Brand Unkown

This comes from my personal collection which I am downsizing as we moved into a smaller home and I no longer have the space.

It is an antique 19th century earthenware medical inhaler made by S Maw Son & Thompson of Aldersgate Street, London, circa 1890

Remarkably the inhaler is in near perfect condition (though needs cleaning inside)

The body of the inhaler is finished in a blue marble-type finish with branding to the front and ‘DIRECTIONS FOR USE’ to the rear.

Measures: appx 8” tall

Condition: The jar is in good condition having only all over crazing.  It is badly stained inside
