Antique Polychrome Blue Transferware Staffordshire Thanksgiving Turkey Plate Royal Cauldon
$149.99
Brand Royal Cauldon
Here's a hard to find plate for your Thanksgiving decor or feast...and a feast for the eyes of any serious transferware collector, too. This beautiful plate is trimmed with gold and depicts a stunning wild turkey with a border of foliage around it. The turkey features a striking combination of hand painted color; gold, teal, turquoise, purple, lavender, green and orange with hand applied gilding around the rim and overlaying the blue transfer border. It was made in 1910 by Royal Cauldon of England.
It's in wonderful condition, having a little wear to the gold trim, though not much, and only some light crazing. There are no chips or cracks on this 100+ year old beauty.
Measures: appx 10"
