For consideration is this vintage decorative box made of wood.  The latching hardware is a bronzey-gold tone brass or metal and is antique'd with a warm patina.  The case opens and would hold a square box of tissues with spare room. It has a very light gold distress finish.  Mostly rubbed away and is very subtle.  I used this as decor in my husbands home office for years along with some other leather and wooden cases which I'll be listing as well.  I've had them for at least 20-25 years and some I bought at antique / resale shops and some were purchased new but I honestly don't recall which is which so I can only safely say they are at least 20-25 years old.
