Large Vintage Faux Bois Black Transferware Teapot Coffee / Tea Pot Silver Shield Wood Grain Antler Shaped Details STUNNING

Brand Arthur Wood

  • This is a vintage reproduction of the unusual, rare teapot which was made originally in 1934 by Arthur Wood.  Although it is a repro, it is still a vintage piece dating to the late 1980's and is in pristine condition.  What I love is that this is larger than the original by at least an inch in height and over an inch in width and will complement any of of the original pieces perfectly.  It features a stunning faux bois (French for false wood) black transfer with pewter ribbing, silver painted highlights and beautifully bone/antler shapes into the handle, spout and finial on the lid which are entirely hand painted. The detail is magnificent.  It also makes a wonderful holder for kitchen utensils!

Perfect for a hunt themed table or decor.

Condition: No chips or cracks .  Some minor crazing, paint and silver loss

Measures: 10" handle to spout x 8.5" tall
