BLACK TRANSFER WARE RECTANGLE SHAPED PLATTER
Royal Staffordshire Rural Scenes by A. J. Wilkinson Ltd. of Great Britain Regd. No. 784849 Circa 1933-34
For consideration is this scenic plate/tray depicting a farm scene with a hunter on horseback and his dogs in the front. In the rear is a thatched Tudor cottage and a pair of sheep grazing in the yard. The border is one of my favorites, being a mix of farming impelements including a rake, hoe, shovel and bee skep mixed with lattice, ivy and berries.
Condition: No chips or cracks, crazing is present
Measures: 9" x 7.5"
