I'm selling a lot from my personal collection and this is one of the pieces...a very hard to find rooster pitcher. This one is a larger pitcher, maybe for milk, water or juice although there are small holes around the upper rim which I have never known what they were for. I have used mine for holding kitchen utensils and flowers. It is in the lovely pattern, Charlotte, depicting a Victorian basket full of roses and lush flowers.
*The Butter dish with the cow is listed as well.
Condition is great having only a little age commensurate crazing.
Measures: 8” tall, from tip of beak to tail is about 8 ½”. Width at the widest part is about 4 1/2". The base is about 3 3/8” by 4 ¼”
