17" HUGE Vintage Blue Transferware serving Platter Royal Doulton Pomeroy Urn w/ Roses Tulips on Brick Wall
Brand Royal Doulton
One of my favorite patterns is Pomeroy by Royal Doulton. This piece is a very hard to find, extra large size platter. The elegant blue and white transferware serving tray dates to about the 1930's. The border is a mix of fruits & flowers intertwined with scroll work. The face of the platter depicts an urn filled with flowers including tulips and roses setting on the edge of a brick wall. Stunning for display or use with the soup tureen (listed separately). It's big enough to serve a large roast and veggies or a turkey!
Condition: No chips or cracks, a little crazing is present.
Marked: Made In England, Royal Doulton England, Pomeroy and hand numbered
*Pieces shown in photos with platter are listed separately (Staffordshire dogs, matching teapot and pitchers, oval basket weave planter, etc)
