This large antique blue Transferware Staffordshire platter by Brown Westhead and Moore dates to the 1880's and features a softly scalloped edge with an intricate basketweave border. It depicts loose floral sprays of lilacs on the face. Very rustic and striking!
Brown Westhead Moore were manufacturers of high-grade earthenwares and porcelain at Cauldon Place, Hanley (Shelton area), Stoke-on-Trent. Circa 1864-1904.
Measures: 15”
Condition: Lovely with no chips or cracks, little crazing, subtle surface scratches
