Here is a magnificent Aesthetic style plate by Grindley in the Landscape pattern. A late 19th century Chinoiserie transferware pattern originally produced by. Copeland Spode, it features a pagoda in the foreground with an Oriental / Asian plant and rock garden and a taller pagoda in the background. The scene is set in a unique and striking star shape. The edge of the plate is slightly scalloped.
