Fabulous find large advertising canister for the late 19C  R. B. Friar Bakeries of Manchester and London.  Super detailed pictorial graphics transfer printed in a brown color.   What a find for your Farmhouse Cottage style kitchen!

Across the top in small letters it reads "Ask for the Usual Easter Flour" and big adverts below reading 'The Best Easter Buns Bread & Biscuits & all Sundries are made at FRIAR's BAKERIES" It then depicts Friars around a table gathering to have their biscuits and muffins made from Friar's.  The address is printed as well!

These are not only wonderful for storing dry goods but for use as a utensil holder, flower vase, etc.  I have several in my collection in brown and black.   It's fabulous!

Measures appx 8.5" tall x about 5" across

Condition: No chips or cracks there is some minor crazing present.

Made by Crown Devon Potteries of England, stamped on bottom of jar.
