Antique Royal Doulton 1902-22 English Transferware Plate

Absolutely stunning example of Royal Doulton's turkey wares i depicting a wild turkey.  It is framed by an elaborate, Imari style floral scrollwork border in rich cobalt blue, burgundy, sienna and green.  The turkey at the center is a brown transfer which has been hand painted in a plethora of colors, all underglaze.

VERY hard to find this piece!

Condition: No chips, no cracks, only a bit of crazing

measurements; appx. 10 5/8" diameter
