From one of Germany's most highly regarded porcelain manufacturers dating back to 1866 is this sweet pair of corresponding dessert / salad plates each detailing different Woodland animals. One plate features a Doe and her fawn while the other depicts a pair of pheasants. The forest scenes are from antique engravings. There are ferns, mushrooms and other woodland plants. They are trimmed in green around the rim with a raised scrolled design.
