Deep Scalloped / Fluted Round Platter
For consideration is this exquisitely detailed, serving platter by Copeland/Spode in the hard to find Butterfly and Daisies pattern. The rich, chocolate brown transfer is painstakingly painted by hand in deep, jeweled tones of turquoise, chartreuse, sienna, rust, pink, taupe and gold. Lustre finish. A single Monarch flutters amongst a wildflower bouquet. The rim is fluted, scalloped and trimmed in gilt. Stunning!
Measures: Appx 11”
Condition: Great. No chips or cracks. Little surface wear.
