A one-of-a-kind altered Gien platter from the Fragments of Grace collection by Nancy’s Daily Dish.

This charming French platter features a printed culinary recipe for Les Entrecôtes aux Cèpes, framed with classic black decoration and a small cow motif at the top. I’ve embellished it with a silver-toned bull/cow head along the edge, adding dimension, character, and a touch of French country charm that feels as though it belongs to the original design.

The simplicity of the black and white palette allows the added piece to stand out while still honoring the platter’s understated elegance. It has the feeling of an old French kitchen, a gathered table, and something lovingly prepared and shared.
