Circa 1877 Wedgwood Hunting Game Series Covered Dish
Absolutely stunning, this antique green transferware dish dating to the Aesthetic Movement by Wedgwood depicts hunting dog portraits and forest greens on the lid. It is surrounded with a geometric border and beautifully detailed handles and lid.
Measurements: 11 1/2" handle to handle x 8" x 5" to top of lid handle
Condition: Good condition with some chipping underneath the lid (as shown in photo). They do not show with the lid on. There is some crazing. This would be a beautiful entry way piece to hide away keys etc.
Markings: The dish is impressed with 'Wedgwood'
