TEAL GREEN TRANSFERWARE
Absolutely stunning example of the Camilla Series by Spode.
The Camilla pattern was first introduced by Spode in 1833. It was first transfer printed in blue underglaze and later was offered in red, green, brown, and then teal green, of which the greens and brown are the rarest to find in this pattern.
The pattern name/depiction is thought to be derived from the Tea plant Camellia Sinensis
Condition: No chips, no cracks, only a bit of crazing
measurements; appx. 10”
