For consideration here is one of the most beautiful and sought after patterns in purple transferware on a round serving bowl, produced from hand engravings by Britain’s finest craftsmen. It features a stunning view of Sulgrave Manor Northamptonshire; the Tudor style home of George Washington's ancestors. It was built in 1539 by Laurence Washington who bought the property from Henry VIII.  The border is gorgeous, being of vines and ivy, berries and florals...one of the most beautiful and intricate in detail.


Measures appx 8”  x 2 3/4” deep

Good condition, no chips or cracks...minimal, if any, crazing
