Very Rare Large Bi Color Brick Red & Black Polychrome Transferware Spode Copeland Divided Serving Bowl

Brand Copeland Spode

Extra Large Divided / Double Serving Bowl

circa 1930's Spode Copeland

Richmond Views

I have always loved this pattern by Spode / Copeland called Richmond Views which features water boat scenes in either well of the dish.  Both scenes are black transfer with hand enamelled colors under the glaze. The divider is arched higher at the centre and each side mimics the design around the border.  It has a wide border in a brick red pattern of small vines and flowers and is finished with out the transfer coming to the ends which shows the pointed rim.  This comes from my personal collection which I'm needing to downsize.  I've never come across this piece before.
This would be stunning as a focal point on a wall with other plates and artwork, or it's perfectly suited to put on a stand or serve your favourite side dishes!

Measures: appx 12” x 9" x 2"

Condition is chips or cracks, some minor glaze wear to the outer rim with crazing and overall browning as shown.

Last photo is of my partial collection of red/black transferware (from which this piece comes) in my entry way at a previous home we lived in.  We downsized so I’m selling some of my personal collection.  I do custom wall scapes and design as well. Convo me for rates.
