Vintage English Transferware Staffordshire Rooster Pitcher Charlotte Basket Roses Red Transferware Figural Pitcher
$199.99
Brand Royal Staffordshire
I rarely come across this particular rooster pitcher so I was thrilled to find another one just like my red one. I've got one in red and one in brown as part of my collection. I was fortunate to find this one. This one is a larger pitcher, maybe for milk, water or juice although there are small holes around the upper rim which I have never known what they were for. I use mine for holding kitchen utensils. It is in the lovely pattern, Charlotte, depicting a Victorian basket full of roses and lush flowers.
