This vintage decanter makes a wonderful statement in your bar or office. It comes from England and reads in black transfer print "COGNAC" surrounded with black plumes and scrolls and painted gilt bands and trim. The backside reads "W & A Gilbey Limited Wine Shippers & Distillers Since 1857". It can be displayed on a bookcase, in the bar or anywhere as it is or converted to a lamp like Charles Faudree has done, as shown in the 3rd photo (far right). I have a few in my collection and will be listing others shortly (different colors and alcohol names). This is also a great advertising piece. Shaped like a barrel with a dispenser at the base and lid on top.
Measures: 5 1/2" tall x 4" wide x 3 3/4" deep
Condition: There is crazing, and a stable crack going down one side (shown in pics). So this is a display piece only. Discounted 75%
