Quintessential English Country decor.  Here is a beautiful pair of 19th Century Staffordshire Confetti Sheep figurines. These salt glazed stoneware figures come from England.

Salt glaze pottery is usually stoneware with a glaze of glossy,  translucent and slightly orange-like texture which was formed by throwing common salt into the kiln during the higher temperature part of the firing process. Sodium from the salt reacts with silica in the clay body to form a glassy coating. The glaze may be colorless or may be colored various shades

Condition: very good, minor restoration to the foliage at the rear which has been shortened and capped off.
