Vintage Green Tole English Tray depicting
This gorgeous tray depicts a family and their dog along the banks of the Derwent River. It looks further across the Derwent River, between Wye and Derwent Valley to the hillside where the stately Chatsworth house sits.
The tray is a forest kelly green with beautiful gilded scrolls and plumes around the rim. Around the scene is a frame of twigs and vines and then pink roses which frame the idyllic scene. It is titled Chatsworth and marked Made in England.
Absolutely lovely!
Measures: handle to handle 16” x 12.5”
Condition: Good with some scratching here and there but displays beautifully!
