This gorgeous brown transferware, polychrome cheese plate with cover is by George Jones in the Chrysanthemum Pattern. It dates to the Aesthetic Movement which you can read about here:

This cheese bell is a dark brown transfer that has been hand painted in yellow, pinks, green and brown. It has a different Chrysanthemum arrangement on each side. It is trimmed around the handle, spout and rim with gold. marked on bottom
Absolutely gorgeous detail!
The company began operation in c.1864 at Stoke Upon Trent at the Trent Potteries Works as George Jones and in 1873 became George Jones & Sons Ltd. They produced gorgeous majolica and earthen wares.
In 1907 the works was renamed Crescent Potteries.
George Jones died in 1893.
Measures appx 7” diameter
Condition: No chips or cracks There is crazing is present. Some gold loss around the rim. There is a little bit of subtle discoloration
