1904 Transferware Cobalt Flow Blue Teapot Highland Cattle Scottish Sheep

Brand Nancy's Daily Dish

Ca 1904-28 antique Arthur Wood cobalt flow blue transfer printed teapot.

This is a really beautiful 2 cup teapot that just arrived from England.  It has beautiful depictions of Scottish highland herds of sheep on one side and Scottish highland cattle on the other. Accented with gilding around the lid, handle and spout including  a gold bead band just under the ruffled top.  This listing is for the smaller teapot shown.  The larger is listed separately and features Highland cattle on one side and horses on the other.  Stunning detail!

Measures: 8” x 6”

Condition: under the lid there are a couple of chips which do not show or detract from using or displaying the teapot.  They only show if you lift the lid and look.   No chips or cracks, little crazing.
