19C Antique English Victorian Red Banded WHISKY Keg / Barrel Ideal for Lamp

Brand Royal Staffordshire

I'm excited to offer this antique spirits barrel which came from Leyland, in the county of Lancashire, England.  This was part of my personal collection but we’ve relocated to a much smaller home and I don’t have room for all these treasures!  I’ll be listing other pieces from my personal collection along with a lot of  goodies that just came in from England over the next few days.   This is made by Crown Devon with red bands and English block letters within a scrolled cartouche.  It would be perfect converted into a lamp!

Measures: 12" tall x appx 11" wide x 7 1/2" deep   There is no tap/stopper but one could easily be added with cork if you wanted

Probably held 2 gallons

Condition: Excellent, no chips, no cracks and little crazing.
