Brand Royal Cauldon
From the classic novel, The Old Curiosity Shop, by Charles Dickens this plate depicts Little Nell, the inherently good little girl who is the main character and her Grandfather. The image is a black transfer and the plate has a rich, honey amber glaze. It features intricate raised detailing of vines, grape clusters and urns around the border. The rim has a deep loden green trim.
Measures: 9.25"
Condition": Excellent, no chips or cracks and little crazing.
