Brand Brown, Westhead and Moore

For consideration is this stunning, antique Staffordshire plate by Brown Westhead and Moore. It dates to the 1880's and features an intricate, blooming hibiscus flower in blue transferware with hand painted shades of red (which give a purple-ish hue over the blue), taupe and gold. Very striking! Six plates are availabe, each with a slightly different hibiscus and coloring. They are being sold individuallly.

Brown Westhead Moore were manufacturers of high-grade earthenwares and porcelain at Cauldon Place, Hanley (Shelton area), Stoke-on-Trent. Circa 1864-1904.

Registration # 92932 dates to 1888
Markings: Impressed, hand numbered and stamped

Has an adhesive disc hanger attached for hanging.  This can be easily removed by soaking with some water if you don’t wish to hang it.

Condition: Amazingly wonderful! No chips, no cracks, appears almost brand new.
