For consideration, a stunningly beautiful Victorian / Edwardian hand painted plate depicting an English Setter.  The detail is outstanding! It is signed by the artist on the dog collar, R. P. Yance

Thomas Elsmore and Sons was an earthenware manufacturer at the Clayhills Pottery, Tunstall, Stoke-on-Trent from 1872 to 1887.  

Marked on the back Thomas Elsmore & Sons / Parisian Granite England and impressed PG

Staffordshire England

Condition: No chips or cracks. Just under the mouth there is a white spot, can't tell if this was a touch up or a slight imperfection as you can feel the paint.  It is not so noticeable unless you are really closely inspecting.
