Antique Corn Bros Aesthetic Movement Art Nouveau Brown Transferware Water Lily Tile

$89.99

Brand Corn Bros

Here is a beautiful antique tile featuring an Art Nouveau water lily.  Corn Bros "Water Lily" or "Lotus" tile is a classic example of English Art Nouveau ceramics. Corn Brothers (Corn Bros) were English Victorian and Edwardian tile decorators  and merchants active at the Bridge Works in Tunstall, Stoke-on-Trent, during the late 19th and early 20th centuries (1897-1912). Their floral lily tiles—-featuring arum lilies, water lilies, or stylized tulips-—are highly collectible examples of Victorian Aesthetic Movement and Art Nouveau design.
