Circa 1876 Antique Large Flow Blue Chinoiserie Soup Tureen

Beautiful tureen made during the Aesthetic movement in a Chinoiserie theme. The handles and finial are shaped like branches with embossed leaves, grapes and gold highlights.  Stylized butterflies at the center of lids border and florals decorate the body. It has a slight blue-gray colored body.  Simply stunning!

Marked as follows: Early Copeland "C" stamp on underside of both lid and base.  Base also has impressed Y over 76 which translates to production of May 1876. The piece is hand numbered as well which I believe is: 7681 over T thought cannot be certain as it is not completely clear

Measures: 15" handle to handle x 8.25" x 9" tall

Condition:  Overall extremely good.  Some loss to gold trim / highlights around rim and handles, Finial has very stable hairline which cannot be felt so I believe happened during manufacture as it appears glazed over.  Does not impact being able to hold by the finial.  Tiny nick to inside lip of tureen as shown in photos 10 and 11 on left side of inner rim
