Antique French Limoges Game Animal Plate Set “After The Hunt”

This set features 6 uniquely hand painted plates of various game birds and hares.  Each is hanging with various flowered herbs ready to be prepared for cooking.  The borders are very unique with mottled speckles of brown and white paint leaving a unique texture.  They are gently scalloped and painted gold around the outer rims.

These would be stunning hanging in a French or Old World styled kitchen or along the back of an antique hutch or cupboard to display them.  They’d be lovely in any cabin or hunt themed decor, flanking a painting or mirror hanging on the wall.
