English Scenery Hand Painted Green Transferware Fish Plate
Beautiful plate for the fisherman, your lodge or cabin or just because.  The green transfer is hand painted with bright colors of red, blue, yellow and green around the border and taupes, greens, golds, pale blues and browns on the face.  It is colorful and a rare find!
Mary Astor said, "The man who goes fishing gets more than the fishes he catches."  That quote reminds me of my husband, Shawn.
While we lived in Colorado he'd go fishing at either Eleven Mile Canyon, or at Pike's Peak's Crystal Lake or Glen Eyrie Reservoir and never gave a care as to whether he caught a fish or not.  He so loved being out of doors and I imagine that many of his thoughts were relative to this next quote, "Some men go to church and think about fishing, other men go fishing and think about God."
Measures 10"
Condition: No chips or cracks.  There is crazing throughout.
