Scenic Blue English Transferware Platter
This listing is for a beautiful blue transferware platter by J & G Meakin, of Staffordshire, England in the Stratford Stage pattern. This scene depicts an old English village complete with Tudor buildings and cottages with the stage coach preparing for a trip and loading its passengers and their luggage. Two small children stand near the fence and wave them away on their journey. The border is a lovely blend of Victorian scrolls and lush florals.
This is difficult to find in blue. So pretty!
This platter measures 12" x 9"
Condition: No chips or cracks.
