Beautiful, picturesque plate with grazing cattle in the highly collectible transferware pattern entitled 'English Scenery' by Wood & Sons.

Very hard to find in purple!

For consideration here is a lovely, vintage purple transferware plate manufactured by Wood & Sons/Woods Ware of Staffordshire England. The plate depicts a rural scene of cows grazing alongside a stream with a windmill in the distance. The border is a beautiful blend of lush flowers, I think, perhaps peonies.


~Gorgeous English Transferware at its finest~

Plate measures appx. 9" in diameter. Condition is wonderful...no chips, cracks...minimal crazing (if any)
