For consideration is this highly collectible, historical Staffordshire plate depicting Penn's treaty with the Indians. The image source for Treaty of Penn with the Indians, sometimes known as Penn's Treaty with the Indians at Shackamaxon or more simply Penn's Treaty with the Indians, is an oil painting by Benjamin West, completed in 1771-2. The border is surrounded with several cartouches pertaining to significant times and/or peoples of the U.S. history....The Mayflower in Plymouth Harbour, an American Indian on horseback with bow and arrow, a Pilgrim couple watching the Mayflower return, and Pocohontas saving the life of John Smith.


Measures: appx 10.5"

Condition: No chips or cracks, some crazing commensurate with age
