POLYCHROME BROWN TRANSFERWARE 

Absolutely stunning example of the Game Bird Series by Spode/Copeland depicting a Pair of Woodcock in a woodland setting.  The birds are framed by a stunning border and yellowish gold lustre & Gadroon rim. The plate is hand painted in vibrant, rich colors of taupe, gold, green, pink, rust, purple, teal, yellow and blue incredible detail.

VERY Hard to find!.

Condition: No chips, no cracks, only a bit of crazing

measurements; appx. 10 5/8" diameter
