Here's a vintage English majolica cheese dome / bell resembling a wooden plank fence with pretty pink Azaleas 🌸 and green leaves. The handle is shaped like a twisting vine. I have seen this same pattern cheese bell by George Jones but I am not familiar enough with majolica marks to know if this is his or not. There is however a British registration mark and these were used between 1842 and 1879. It is in colors of brown, green and Pink.
there are no chips or cracks but one or two small glaze flakes or where the glaze did not adhere. It’s a beautiful piece!!!
Measures: Appx. 7 3/4” tall x appx 6" diameter. plate is appx 10 1/4”
