This water filter is from my own collection. It is a vintage piece made in the 1970-80 era by Royal Doulton and I purchased it 8-10 years ago from a dealers vintage (but unused) stock. I have the original box, paperwork and filter. It was never used and is in perfect condition. Antique water filters can run anywhere from $800-2000.
Originally I thought I’d have this made into a lamp (see photos of examples of filters turned into lamps) but have used it for display only. I have seen or heard other collectors use theirs for bread, as a plant stand or planter (I saw one with a gorgeous fern in it), an umbrella stand and even as a trash can. The latter uses would be used without the lid in place.

Condition: Used for display (in my kitchen) only.
