Fragments of Grace No. 27 — The Marshland Bees — Masons Brown Transferware Game Birds Plate

$89.99

Brand Nancy's Daily Dish

This one-of-a-kind piece from the Fragments of Grace collection began as a vintage Mason’s game bird plate, featuring a quiet marshland scene with ducks resting among the reeds and an ornate brown transferware border.

Hand-applied golden kintsugi-style repairs move through the plate like reeds, branches, and traces of light, transforming the signs of age and imperfection into part of the design. Three jeweled bees have been added around the edge, each one bringing a sense of movement, life, and quiet purpose to the pastoral scene.

With its hunt-inspired imagery, warm brown transferware, glints of gold, and bees gathered along the rim, this piece feels like a reflection on provision, resilience, and beauty found in the changing seasons.

Part of Fragments of Grace: The Beautifully Broken Collection, this piece is a reminder that what has been cracked or overlooked can still be gathered up and made beautiful again. To me, it speaks softly of God’s grace — the way He restores what feels damaged, gives purpose to the broken places, and lets beauty remain.

Decorative use only. Not food safe.

Each piece in the Fragments of Grace collection includes a keepsake card with the piece’s title, collection number, and the story behind Fragments of Grace — a reminder that broken does not mean finished, and beauty can still be found in what has been lovingly restored.
