Fragments of Grace No. 26 — The Keeper of the Season — Rural Scenes Polychrome Brown Trasferware

$65.00

Brand Nancy's Daily Dish

his one-of-a-kind piece from the Fragments of Grace collection began as an imperfect vintage transferware plate, already rich with age, charm, and story. At the center is a quiet pastoral cottage scene, surrounded by a warm brown floral border that feels perfectly suited to the changing seasons.

Along the rim, a jeweled embellishment of oak leaves, acorns, and bright red berries has been added by hand. The oak leaves and acorns bring the feeling of autumn — strength, harvest, and what is gathered before winter — while the red berries hint at the beauty and hope that remain even as the colder season arrives.

Together, the details feel like a little sheltering bough above the cottage, as though the piece is holding both seasons at once: autumn’s richness and winter’s quiet grace.

Part of Fragments of Grace: The Beautifully Broken Collection, this piece is a reminder that God often brings beauty through seasons of change. What has been chipped, cracked, or overlooked can still be gathered up, restored, and given a new story.

Each piece in the Fragments of Grace collection includes a keepsake card with the piece’s title, collection number, and the story behind Fragments of Grace — a reminder that broken does not mean finished, and beauty can still be found in what has been lovingly restored.
