This lovely plate depicts and old thatched English cottage which quaintly sets in front of a winding stream / brook.  It is surrounded by scrolls and ivy intertwined with bundles of grapes.  The back features a poem by Alfred Tennyson which reads:

"I chatter, chatter, as I flow

To join the brimming river,

For men may come and men may go,

But I go on forever."
