The pattern is called Continental Views and was first produced in 1844-45. A very hard to find piece in an equally hard to find color, this 21” turkey sized platter dates to about the 1930's and has a Gadroon edge. This is a polychrome piece, meaning that it has hand painted touches of color over the transfer and yet is permanent by being under the glaze.

Condition: No chips or cracks, some crazing
