AESTHETIC MOVEMENT BROWN TRANSFER WARE PLATTER

For consideration is this antique serving platter / tray by G L Ashworth & Brothers of Hanley, North Staffordshire England in the delicate Empress pattern. This gorgeous Aesthetic Movement pair dates to the later part of the 1800's. The transfer of flowing scrolls intertwined with leaves and stylized flowers is detailed around the border and as a rectangular medallion on the center which mimics the shape of the tray. Ashworth later became part of the Masons group of potters.(1968)

Measures: 15 3/4" x 12 /1/4"

Condition: No chips or cracks.  Slight crazing, commensurate with age, is present. Overall condition is very nice.
