Antique platter in a beautiful, light blue transfer ware pattern by T & R Boote with a British registration mark of 33645 dating to 1899
This lovely platter features a geometric medallion at the center and a corresponding border. You could display this vertically or horizontally!
T & R Boote was founded by Thomas Latham Boote and Richard Boote at the Central Pottery, Burslem in 1842. They were in business at three different pottery works in Burslem until 1963 and were then taken over by Richards Tiles (Now H & R Johnson Tiles Ltd). Boote manufactured several types of wares, including Parian ware which they fought over the invention of with both Copeland (Spode) and Mintons.
Measures: appx 14" x 10"
Condition: No chips or cracks, there are some slighlty rough, weathered/worn spots ....Nothing significant. Beautiful for display or use
