This pair of scroll and leaf ornamental wall corbels were made from a fireplace mantle salvaged in France. They are ornately carved of wood and have distressed gold finishes with some of the original gold paint being a little chippy or peeling adding to their antique look.
They are perfect for your traditional, Victorian or French decorating. I almost always incorporate wall corbels into my wallscapes with plates, mirrors or paintings as they add depth and architectural interest. Other uses would be to flank a mantle, use to hold a wood shelf, as bookends, etc. Their are endless possibilities!
They have been fitted with hanging hardware on the back of each and are good to go.
