RARE Copeland / Spode Bamboo Relief Cream ware Serving Bowl

Brand Copeland Spode

Spode / Copeland Cream Ware bamboo Relief Bowl.  This is the Aesthetic style which became very popular in the 1860s and was inspired by Japanese design.  This features a bamboo relief around the outside of the bowl with some added gilding.    It is marked with a diamond shaped British registration relief mark (in use from around 1840-1880) It has hand numbering as well.

The bowl measures about 9” x 3”.
It would be lovely as a centerpiece filled with fruits, pine cones etc.  Or use it as a serving bowl.

This piece is in very good condition with the normal crazing and some loss to the gold
