Vintage English Ironstone Candle Stand Advertising Counter Shop Display Harrods of London

$199.99

Brand Mason's

  • Vintage English Ironstone Shop Counter Ham Stand made for Harrods of London.

Most people see these and wonder what they are...I have one in my collection of advertising wares and use it as a plant stand in my kitchen. These are also great to use as candle stands for larger 3-wick pillars.

The base is decorated with Harrods Logo in gold on either side and Graphics, including birds, in green, turquoise, mauve and yellow.

A super, ceramic shop display stand originally used for a ham or gammon joint...but looks great holding a plant...or a big pillar candle!

Measures: 7 1/2" tall x 6 3/4" diameter and is very heavy

Condition is good, no chips, cracks. There is a little crazing present, commensurate to age.

*Last 4 photos show the shorter ham stand and some other variations  just so you can see how a plant, candles or flowers look on the stand.  I once used one to hold a larger bowl on top for serving.  Makes a unique serving piece too!
