RARE Vintage Green English Transferware Spicers of Hythe Masons Ham Stand Advertising Counter Shop Display

$199.99

Brand Mason's

  • Vintage Green Transferware Ironstone Shop Counter Ham Stand made for Spicers of Hythe Grocery Store ca 1926.

Most people see these and wonder what they are...I have one in my collection of advertising wares and use it as a plant stand in my kitchen.

The stand is heavy ironstone and has green transfer printing which reads C. T. Harris Quality Hams on one side and Spicers' of Hythe on the opposite.

A super, ceramic shop display stand originally used for a ham or gammon joint...but looks great holding a plant...or a big pillar candle!

Measures: 7 1/2" tall x 6 3/4" diameter and is very heavy

Condition is good, no chips, cracks. There is a little crazing present, commensurate to age.

*Last four pics are of other stands shown with flowers, candle and plant
